Get Involved
Texas State has more than 400 registered student organizations, with groups centered on academics, culture, service, leadership, recreation, faith, professional interests, fraternity and sorority life, and much more. The Bobcat Organization Hub is the best starting point for finding organizations, events, and involvement opportunities.

Campus Living
Texas State Housing & Residential Life offers residence halls, upper-division housing options, and Living Learning Communities that help students connect with peers who share academic or personal interests. Current housing options, rates, contracts, and important dates are available directly from Housing & Residential Life.
Students looking off campus can also use the university’s Off-Campus Housing Marketplace for rental and roommate resources.
Health, Recreation & Outdoors
Campus Recreation provides fitness, aquatics, climbing, sport programs, and recreation facilities. At Sewell Park, the Outdoor Center offers river and outdoor-equipment rentals along with access to one of the most recognizable recreation areas in San Marcos.
Athletics & Spirit
Texas State competes in 16 varsity sports at the NCAA Division I level. Current Texas State students receive free admission to home athletics events, making Bobcat games an easy way to take part in campus traditions and school spirit.
